Grass Roots brings Austin's local charm to every lawn we care for. Raised in Austin, Texas, co-founder Cole Kendall has a deep-rooted connection to this community and a profound understanding of the unique landscapes that make this city special.

Patrick Murphy, co-founder, was a Division 1 swimmer at the University of Texas. Patrick fell in love with Austin during his time in school and knew this is where he wanted to establish his roots. Patrick has a strong background in construction and landscaping having experience in the general contracting space.

We started Grass Roots to revamp the services industry, establishing ourselves as a one-stop shop for landscaping and lawn care. Why? We noticed a big gap in what exists today - late arrivals or no shows, high prices, unreliability, sloppy work, and uncertainty around what is actually going on in your yard…

We are going to change that by taking pride in our work, listening to your needs, and offering effective solutions. No challenge is too big or small!
